Ten year old Ethan Dodd has been located and safely returned to his parents. At around 3:15PM Ethan’s father had arrived at Alexander II Magnet School to pick him up. Ethan was not where he was supposed to be waiting. School officials were notified along with the Board of Education Police and the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. An immediate search for Ethan began inside the school and around the perimeter of the campus. Volunteers with the Macon-Bibb Emergency Management Agency also assisted in the search which expanded out for several blocks.
Ethan was located on Turpin Street along the railroad tracks near Bronson Yard at around 6:45PM by a Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigator assisting in the search. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Bibb County School Officials, Board of Education Police, Macon-Bibb Emergency Management Agency, the News Media and all of the volunteers that assisted in helping to locate Ethan Dodd.
