Bibb County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies responded to an address in the 500 block of Willingham Court just before 09:00 a.m. on August 5, 2019. The homeowner returned home and found an unknown black male had broken into her house while she was visiting family members.
Deputies arrived on scene and found the house ransacked and the suspect asleep in the master bedroom. Deputies detained 65-year-old Dwight Donald Davis, of Macon. When deputies placed Davis in the patrol car he began kicking the door trying to get out.
Deputies were able to calm Davis down and he was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Burglary, Interference with Government Property and Obstruction of Peace Officer. He is being held without bond at this time.
