Bibb County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies arrested a Macon man who forced his way into his ex-girlfriend’s home and attempted to make her  drive him to his mother’s home.  It was reported that around 2:00a.m. Monday morning, 31-year-old Rinaldo Dewayne Callaway went to his ex-girlfriend’s apartment, located at 399 Plantation Way, in west Bibb, and forced his way in. The ex-girlfriend, Nickisia Sheyka, her 18-year-old son and his two 17-year-old friends hid inside one of the back rooms of the apartment.  Callaway forced his way into the room and then made Sheyka go to her vehicle and demanded that she take him to his mother’s home. The teens ran outside and stalled them from leaving. Callaway suddenly snatched the keys out of the ignition and then fled the scene just before deputies arrived.

Deputies later found Callaway hiding at an adjacent apartment building. While Callaway was waiting to be transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, he began to kick the rear door windows, bending the bars that covered the windows. He was removed and placed in a different patrol vehicle to be transported to the jail.  Callaway began to kick and damage the bars covering the windows in that patrol vehicle.
