Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Macon man minutes after it was reported that he shot several times at an apartment located in the 4100 block of Napier Avenue that his girlfriend and five other people were inside of at the time. Deputies responded to the call of shots fired just before 1:00AM this morning at the apartment on Napier Avenue. Deputies made contact with 20 year old Nekia Stubbs. She told deputies that her boyfriend, 22 year old Terrod Thomas, started an argument with her. It was reported that Thomas started hitting Stubbs with his fists. She was able to escape outside the apartment. As Thomas was leaving the apartment, he turned towards the apartment firing several shots, striking an unoccupied vehicle in the parking lot. No one else was injured during the incident. Bibb Sheriff’s Deputies searched the area and found Thomas just a few blocks away from the apartment. The gun Thomas reportedly used was also found. Thomas was taken into custody and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Complex after being questioned. He is charged with 6 counts of Aggravated Assault. Bond has not been set for Thomas. This incident is under investigation.
