A joint investigation between the Bibb County Sheriff’s Special Investigations Unit and the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s MATCH Task Force, which is comprised of the Federal Bureau of Investigations, Atlanta Police Department, Effingham County Sheriff’s Office, Columbia County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigations, led to multiple arrests on subjects for soliciting minors for sex. The operation was conducted at a local area hotel over a two day period. Investigators posed as willing accomplices to sexual activity on “on-line” websites.

 

During the two day operation the following individuals were arrested and charged with use of a computer service to seduce, solicit, lure or entice a child to commit an illegal act.
