A joint investigation between the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Financial Crimes Unit and the Houston County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigative Division has resulted in the following arrest and issuance of the following arrest warrants.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office – Financial Crimes Unit
- Anthony William Simmons – Wanted
- B/M; Age-34
- The warrant for Simmons is for False Statements and Writings: On May 26, 2015, Simmons is accused of filing a fraudulent “Notice of Contest of Lien” and “Affidavit of Possession” on the property of 3691 Holley Dr. Lizella, GA. Mr. Simmons subsequently hired a locksmith to change / remove the realtor locks in a further attempt to convert this property to his possession.
- Simmons is 6 feet 4 inches in height and weighs approximately 240 pounds. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Anthony William Simmons is urged to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500. A photograph of Anthony Simmons is attached.
- Larry Ealy – Apprehended
- B/M; Age-52
- Larry Ealy was arrested at around 3:15PM, Tuesday afternoon just after he entered the Bibb County Courthouse. The warrant for Larry Ealy is for Unauthorized Practice of Law: On May 1, 2015, Larry Ealy is accused of presenting and / or identifying himself as an attorney in the Bibb County Superior Court Clerk’s Office and US Federal Court Clerk’s Office in that Mr. Ealy has:
- Filed and / or assisted in filing numerous court documents, to include: civil suit(s); writs; motions, etc. on behalf of the co-defendants in this investigation.
- Identified himself as an attorney representing the co-defendants in this investigation and / or has provided them counsel in the presence of the Clerk’s Office.
- The investigation has determined that Larry Ealy is not a duly licensed attorney in the State of Ga.
Houston County Sheriff’s Office – Criminal Investigative Division
- Dewyan Fitzgerald – Apprehended
- B/M; Age-44
- Dewyan Fitzgerald was arrested just after 3:00PM, Tuesday afternoon just after he entered the Bibb County Courthouse. The warrants for Fitzgerald are for Criminal Trespass and False Statements and Writings: On April 27, 2015, Dewyan Fitzgerald is accused of filing a fraudulent “Notice of Contest of Lien” and “Affidavit of Possession” on the property of 129 Fernwood Dr. Warner Robins, GA. On April 28, 2015, Mr. Fitzgerald subsequently hired a locksmith to change / remove the realtor locks in a further attempt to convert this property to his possession.
