Shavious Antwan Balkcom, 26 years old, from Macon, was arrested this afternoon just before 1:30PM by Investigators with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Gang Unit, Special Investigations Unit and the US Marshal’s Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. Balkcom was located near College Park Georgia and was arrested without incident. Balkcom is charged with 6 counts of aggravated assault and 12 counts of violation of the street gang terrorism and prevention act. The arrest and charges are in reference to the fatal shooting incident at the Wings Café, 2822 Bloomfield Drive, on December 12, 2014. Balkcom is the second suspect located in the Atlanta area in two days.
Balkcom was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Complex and booked on the charges. No bond has been set for Taylor.
