The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit (SIU), made several arrests after guns and drugs were located at a residence, during a search warrant, in the Mercer University Drive area on October 11, 2021.
While serving the search warrant, deputies seized approximately 13 pounds of marijuana, ecstasy, a Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun, a Pioneer Arms 7.62 rifle, an AR15 5.56 rifle, and a .22 caliber derringer.
Investigators arrested the following individuals following the service of the warrant.
Willie James Wooten Jr., age 35, was charged with Trafficking Marijuana, (4) counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of Certain Felonies, and Possession of Schedule II. Wooten does not have a bond.
Shanterio Deshaun Wooten( brother of Willie Wooten), age 33, was arrested for the charges of Trafficking Marijuana , (4) counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of Certain Felonies,(4) counts of Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon, and Possession of Schedule II. Wooten does not have a bond.
Jarvis Yamaine Banks, age 35, was arrested for the charges of Trafficking Marijuana ,(4) counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of Certain Felonies,(4) counts of Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon, and Possession of Schedule II. Banks does not have a bond.
Tanyeka Degiona Thomas, age 29, was arrested for the charges Trafficking Marijuana ,( 4) counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of Certain Felonies, and Possession of Schedule II, she had a State Court Bond Surrender. Thomas does not have a bond.
Blake Annessia Nash, age 28, was arrested for the charges of Trafficking Marijuana , (4) counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of Certain Felonies, and Possession of Schedule II. Nash does not have a bond.
