The Bibb County Sheriff’s Special Investigations Unit conducted a drug investigation that lead to a search warrant and arrest at 657 Reese Street. On Thursday, February 9, 2017, investigators with the Special Investigations Unit, and the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, with assistance from the Jones County Sheriff’s Office served the search warrant.
During the search of the residence, investigators seized Roxicodone Pills, estimated street value of $10, 425.00, Hydrocodone Pills, estimated street value of $1,490.00, Soboxone with an estimated street value of $1,600.00, Xanax Bars, Ecstasy, and Marijuana. Investigators also seized four handguns at this location. The suspect, 59 year old Oscar Abram, who lives at the house, was not there when investigators arrived. Arrest Warrants were issued for his arrest. Abram was located outside his residence at 657 Reese Street on Monday, February 13, 2017 at around 2:30 p.m. by a Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputy. He was arrested on the following charges;
Possession of a Schedule I or II Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute
Possession of a Schedule III, IV or V Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute
Possession of Marijuana
Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
Abram was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and booked on the charges. Bond was denied by a Magistrate Judge.
