The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office would like to inform the public on how Vice President Pence’s visit will affect citizens on Thursday.
TRAFFIC
Traffic will be affected from 11 am until 6 pm. Motorists are urged to avoid Industrial Park Drive to alleviate the impact of traffic on local businesses. Motorists should also be prepared for traffic delays along Highway 247, Industrial Highway and Cochran Field Road during these event times.
Attendees are asked to enter the assigned parking areas from Cochran Field Road to Airport Drive for parking only. We ask that all participants of the event park in the assigned areas. Any vehicles parked outside of the assigned areas are subject to be towed at the owner’s expense.
