The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that was reported at the Circle K, located at 6205 Zebulon Road. The incident was called in just after 1:30 a.m.
It was reported that deputies responded to a call of a person down that came into the Macon-Bibb E-911 call center. When deputies arrived on the scene, they found a male suffering from a gunshot wound laying outside his vehicle. The male, identified as 23-year-old Brandon Washington, was pronounced dead on the scene. Investigators are continuing to investigate the case in an attempt to determine the events surrounding this incident.
The next of kin was notified by the Coroner’s Office. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
