The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that occurred in the 100 block of Walnut Street. Deputies responded to a report of an unresponsive person, at what appears to be a campsite, located in a wooded area near Central City Park.
Upon arrival, deputies found a deceased male in the wooded area. Crime Scene Investigators discovered that the male had been stabbed in the back.
Investigators are attempting to identify the male at this time. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
