The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that took place at a residence, located at 2881 Walmar Drive, in west Macon.
The Sheriff’s Office was called after a maintenance worker arrived at the residence for repair work. He was told by one of the kids that their Mom was unresponsive.
Morgan Smith, age 26, was found shot, inside of the residence. Investigators were immediately called to the scene. The investigation is in its early stages. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
The two small kids were removed from the area and to a safe location, by Bibb Sheriff’s Investigators. The kids were not injured during this incident. According to Coroner Jones, the next of kin has been notified.
