The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Homicide incident that occurred at the corner of Columbus Road and Helon Street at around 1:21 a.m.
It was reported that 55-year-old Timothy Keith Williams was found with a gunshot wound to the lower extremity. The individual was transported to Atrium Health Navicent by ambulance. The individual was pronounced deceased at around 2:22 a.m. The next of kin has been notified.
This investigation is in its early stages. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available. This incident is still under investigation.
