The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a Home Invasion that took place on Burbank Place at around 11:35p.m, Thursday night.  It was reported that 61 year old Dennis English was in his living room, playing video games when two suspects entered his residence from a rear, unlocked sliding glass door. The suspects demanded that English hand over his wallet. According to English, he has people in his neighborhood coming over to his home frequently and sometimes he leaves the door unlocked. During the incident, English was choked by one suspect and then struck in the face with a black revolver. Once the suspects received an undisclosed amount of cash, they fled the home in an unknown direction. English received minor injuries and was treated by paramedics. No one else was injured during this incident.

The first suspect was described as a black male in his 20’s. He was around 5 feet 6 inches in height and weighed approximately 150 lbs. This suspect was last seen wearing a dark colored hoodie and dark pants. He also wore gloves and was carrying a black in color revolver.

The second suspect was described as a black male in his 20’s. He was also around 5 feet 6 inches in height and weighed approximately 150 lbs. The only clothing description given to investigators was that the suspect was wearing a hoodie and he kept it tightly clinched over his face in an attempt to conceal his identity.
