The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Home Invasion and Aggravated Assault incident that occurred at 3420 Walker Street, Water Oaks Apartments just after 9:30pm Monday night. It was reported that 66 year old Johnny Williams was at home when three black males knocked on his front door. When Williams answered the males demanded money from him. During the incident Williams was shot in the left chest by one of the suspects. The suspects received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the area on foot in an unknown direction. The suspects were wearing masks over their faces and dark clothes. No other information is available on the suspects at this time. Williams was taken to the Navicent Health Hospital and is listed in stable condition. No one else was injured in the incident.
