Funeral services for Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Christopher Knight will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at the Macon City Auditorium, located at 415 1st Street in Macon.
A private graveside service will immediately follow at the Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.

Between the hours of 7:00a.m.and 4:00p.m., several intersections in downtown Macon will be closed. Those intersections include:
First Street, from Riverside Drive to Cotton Avenue
Cherry Street, from New Street to First Street
Popular Street, from New Street to First Street
As the procession travels from the Macon City Auditorium to Macon Memorial Park Cemetery, intersections along 1st Street, Telfair Street, and Mercer University Drive will be temporarily blocked and then reopened, once the procession passes.
Please expect temporary road closures and delays, between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., when traveling in these areas.
