Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested four teenage males in connection with an aggravated assault investigation. The investigation involved a home located in the 3600 block of McKenzie Drive. It was reported that shots were fired at this home on two separate dates. These incidents took place on January 25, 2022, and January 31, 2022. No one was injured in either of these incidents.
On February 3, 2022, investigators received information on the whereabouts of 17-year-old Timothy Persons, who was wanted for the aggravated assaults that occurred on Summerhill Drive, Virginia Avenue, and Village Green Lane, that took place on January 6, 2022.
Persons was also wanted in connection to the aggravated assault incidents that occurred on McKenzie Drive.
Deputies made contact with Persons along with two juvenile males that were also wanted in connection to the McKenzie Drive incidents. Persons along with a 15-year-old male, and 16-year-old male were transported to the Criminal Investigations Division to be interviewed in reference to their charges. After the interview, the two juveniles were transported to the RYDC where they are both charged with eleven counts of Aggravated Assault.
Persons was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and charged with eleven counts of aggravated assault for the incident on McKenzie Dr., and a separate charge of twelve counts of aggravated assault for the Summerhill Drive, Virginia Avenue, and Village Green Lane incidents. Persons is being held without bond.
On February 3, 2022 investigators charged 17-year-old Miguel Contreras who was currently in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center on unrelated charges, with eleven counts of aggravated assault for his participation in the McKenzie Drive incident. Contreras is being held without bond.
