Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputies arrested a Macon man for possession of a Stolen Firearm by a Felon. At 09:43 a.m., on December 20, 2019, deputies responded to 5540 Thomaston Road regarding recovering a Stolen Auto.
When deputies arrived, they found a male sitting in the driver seat of a stolen Cadillac CTS. Deputies detained 27-year-old Algernon Rashad Jackson, of Macon. While checking the stolen vehicle, deputies located a Ruger .380 pistol and determined that it was reported stolen in 2016. Deputies also located a small amount of Marijuana.
Jackson was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with two counts of Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony and Possession of Marijuana less than an Ounce. He is being held without bond at this time.
