The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal accident. The call came into the Macon-Bibb Emergency-911 Center at 3:13 p.m., Thursday afternoon.
Deputies responded to a residence within the 3300 block of Pio Nono Circle in response to an unresponsive male. When deputies arrived, an unresponsive male was located lying near a bicycle at the rear of the residence. Coroner Leon Jones pronounced the male deceased on the scene.
Investigators determined that the male appeared to have been riding his bicycle downhill when he fell from an embankment at the rear of the residence.
The name of the male will not be released at this time as the next of kin has not been notified.
