The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic collision that occurred at 03:45 a.m. on Spring Street at the I-16 eastbound off-ramp.
It was reported that a Nissan Rouge exited off of I-16 eastbound onto Spring Street when it struck the concrete barrier. The driver, 67-year-old Octavio Gomez-Moralez, of Monterey Tennessee, and his rear seat passenger, a 42-year-old male, were transported to Atrium Navicent Health and are listed in stable condition. The front seat passenger, a 64-year-old female, was transported to the Atrium Navicent Health and pronounced deceased by staff. No one else was injured during the incident. The next of kin has not been notified at this time.
