The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic collision that occurred at 5:15 p.m. on Jeffersonville Road at Franklinton Road.
It was reported that a motorcycle was traveling east on Jeffersonville Road at a high rate of speed. A Chevy Silverado was traveling west on Jeffersonville Road, driven by a 71-year-old male of Twiggs. The Silverado was making a left turn onto Franklinton Road from Jeffersonville when the motorcycle, driven by 32-year-old Ezekile Armo Akim Hoskins of Macon, ran into the passenger side rear of the truck. Hoskins was transported to the Atrium Health Medical Center. Hoskins was pronounced deceased by hospital staff. No one else was injured during the incident. The next of kin has been notified at this time.
No charges are being filed at this time.
