The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic collision that occurred at the intersection of Eisenhower Parkway and Second Street. The accident was called into the Macon-Bibb E-911 Center at 1:37 a.m., Friday.

When deputies arrived on the scene, they discovered a collision involving two motor vehicles. A white Honda Civic and a gray Crown Victoria were involved in the collision. Three of the four persons involved in the collision were transported to a medical facility for treatment. They are all listed in critical but stable condition. A male passenger from the Crown Victoria was pronounced deceased on the scene by Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley. The names of all motorists will not be released until the next of kin can be notified.

Investigators are working to determine what caused the collision. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
