Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Fatality Investigators are investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred on Sardis Church Road at Frank Amerson Parkway. The accident occurred at around 9:20p.m. Saturday night.
It was reported that a motorcycle, driven by 60-year-old Johnny Henderson of Peach County and his wife 54-year old Leslie Henderson were traveling west on Sardis Church Road. A Jeep Liberty, driven by 17-year-old Peyton Delucio of Indiana was making a left turn from Frank Amerson Parkway, onto Sardis Church Road.
Both vehicles collided at the intersection. Johnny Henderson and Leslie Henderson were transported to the hospital to be treated for injuries that they received during this accident. Delucio was unharmed. It was reported that Leslie Henderson later died at the hospital. Mr. Johnny Henderson is listed to be in stable condition.
