The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred just before 8:00pm Tuesday night, on Ocmulgee East Blvd near Servitex Drive.
It was reported that the driver of a 2008 Nissan Altima , 24 year old Nekaron Deangelo Lawson, of Dry Branch, was traveling on Ocmulgee East Blvd when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree. Lawson was pronounced dead on scene by Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones.
The accident is currently under investigation. Anyone with information in reference to this accident is urged to contact the Bibb Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500 and ask to leave a message for the “on-call” accident investigator.
