The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred on I475 south bound at the Eisenhower Pkwy off Ramp, just after 04:00pm Monday. It was reported that a Honda Civic, driven by 54 year old Michael Eugene Dye, was traveling south bound when he lost control of his vehicle. It went into the median between I475 and the off ramp striking multiple trees before coming to a stop. Dye was pronounced deceased on scene by Deputy Corner Miley. The next of kin was notified by Deputy Coroner Miley.
