Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of an accident with injury just after 6:00 a.m. in the 6100 block of Hawkinsville Road. It was reported that a 2006 Kia Serento was traveling north on Hawkinsville Road, driven by 30 year old Sherlice Morgan of Macon. A moped entered the northbound lanes of Hawkinsville Road into the path of the Kia and was struck. The driver of the moped was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. There was a report of a second vehicle striking the driver of the moped but that has not been confirmed at this time. The driver of the moped was identified as 29 year old Christopher Todd of Macon.
