The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a single-vehicle fatal traffic accident that occurred near the 2800 block of Avondale Mill Road. The accident was called into the Macon-Bibb E-911 Center at 2:13 a.m., Saturday morning.
A motorist driving a green Ford F250 lost control of his vehicle while traveling on Avondale Mill Road. The vehicle left the roadway and overturned, ejecting the driver. Deputies arrived on the scene and discovered a twenty-five-year-old male had succumbed to his injuries. No one else was involved in the accident.
The male driver was pronounced deceased on the scene by Deputy Coroner Ronnie Miley. According to Deputy Coroner Miley, the next of kin has not been notified. The identity of the motorist will not be released at this time.
This accident is still under investigation.
