The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred on Presidential Pkwy between Bishop Rd and Billy Williamson Rd just after 03:00p.m. Sunday. It was reported that 76yr old Rosaland Walker of Macon was traveling east on Presidential Pkwy in her Mercedes Benz wagon. She was struck by a Nissan Murano driven by 28yr old Manishkumar Patel of Warner Robins GA who was traveling west on Presidential Pkwy. Patel crossed the center median hitting Walker’s vehicle head on. Walker and her 9yr old grandson along with Patel were taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center for treatment. Walker was pronounced deceased by the Navicent doctors. Her grandson is listed in stable condition at this time and Patel is listed in critical condition.
