The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred just before 10:00PM Thursday night on Guy Payne Road near Tech Drive. It was reported that a head on collision occurred involving two vehicles. Both drivers of the vehicles were transported to the Navicent Center for injuries received in the accident. One driver was pronounced dead at the hospital by doctors. The driver’s name and information is being withheld until the next of kin is notified. The other driver, Josefa Sanchez, 57 years old, of Macon, was driving a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe. She is listed in stable condition.
