The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal single vehicle traffic accident that took place at around 1:37 p.m., Sunday. The accident occurred in the 4000 block of Sardis Church Road.
It was reported that a driver of a motorcycle lost control, left the roadway, and was ejected from his motorcycle.
The motorcyclist later identified as 24-year-old Austin Ryan Hammock was pronounced deceased at the scene. The next of kin has been notified by Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley.
This accident is still under investigation.
