The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred at the intersection of College Street and Walnut Street. The accident was called into the Macon-Bibb E-911 Center at 7:15 p.m., Saturday.
It was reported that a moped ran a red light and collided with a Ford Escape. The moped driver, later identified as 46-year-old Zondollius Reynolds of Macon, was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Reynolds’ passenger, 30-year-old Lamesha Brown, was transported to the hospital to be treated for injuries. The driver of the vehicle was not injured. The next of kin has been notified.
