The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal single vehicle traffic collision that took place in the 7400 block of Zebulon Road. The Macon-Bibb 911 Center was notified of the collision at 5:12 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
It was reported that a driver was traveling east on Zebulon Road when the vehicle went off of the roadway and collided with a mailbox.
The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene by Coroner Leon Jones . The name of the deceased will not be released until the next of kin has been notified.
