The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred in the 3400 block of Majestic Court, just before 11:00p.m. on Thursday. It was reported that two male adults and a male juvenile were taken to the Navicent Health for treatment of gunshot wounds received during an altercation on Majestic Court. Another adult male was also taken to the Navicent Health after being hit by a vehicle that was believed to be involved in the same incident.

Andrew Marquez Sims, age 19 from Macon was pronounced dead at the Navicent Health, shortly after midnight from a gunshot wound that he received to the chest and arm areas. The next of kin has been notified.

Demario Shinholster, age 32 from Macon is listed to be in stable condition and is being treated for gunshot wounds that he received to the abdomen and leg areas.

Gabriel Palmer, age 21 from Macon is listed to be in stable condition and is being treated for injuries that he received from being struck by a vehicle.

A 16-year-old male from Macon is listed to be in stable condition and is being treated for a gunshot wound that he received to the hand.

Investigators are continuing to interview possible witnesses to the incident. Crime Scene Investigators are continuing to process evidence from the incident.  Additional information about the incident will be released as soon as it becomes available.
