The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that occurred at the I-475/75(split) southbound, just before the Hartley Bridge Road exit at 11:02 a.m.
It was reported that an individual was seen walking northbound on the southbound shoulder of I-475/75. The pedestrian was struck by a tractor trailer that was headed south on I-475/75. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on the scene. The name of the deceased cannot be released until the next of kin has not been notified. There were no other injuries reported.
