The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred on Jeffersonville Road near Millerfield Road just before 10:00pm. It was reported that a female was walking on Jeffersonville Road when she was struck by a Dodge Truck. The driver, 40 year-old Waders Campbell III of Macon, was headed west on Jeffersonville Road. The female was transported to the Navicent Health Medical Center where she pronounced deceased. Next of kin has not been notified. No one else was injured in the accident. No charges have been filed at this time.
