The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred on Riverside Drive at the I-75 south on-ramp, at 6:29 a.m.
It was reported that a Honda Civic traveling south on Riverside Drive was making a left turn to get onto I-75 south, when it collided with Harley Davidson Motorcycle that was traveling north on Riverside Drive.
The driver of the Honda, 56-year-old Andrea Padgett, of Juliette, sustained minor injuries, she was not taken for treatment. The driver of the Harley Davidson was pronounced deceased on scene by the Bibb County Coroner’s Office. The next of kin has not been notified yet.
The accident is under investigation. No charges have been filed at this time. Anyone with information in reference to this accident is urged to contact the Bibb Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500.
