The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic accident that happened on I-475 northbound on-ramp from I-75 northbound at 2:00 p.m.
It was reported that a Pontiac G6, driven by 29-year-old Jordan Fields, of Dothan Alabama, was on the on-ramp to I-475 northbound from I-75 northbound when he lost control of the vehicle and struck the guardrail causing the vehicle to overturn.
During the accident the two male children in the vehicle were ejected from the car. The 3-year-old child was pronounced deceased at the Navicent Health Medical Center. The 4-year-old child is listed in stable condition at this time. The children’s mother, 31-year-old Lewanna McGriff, of Macon, who was also in the vehicle, is listed in stable condition at this time. Fields is listed in stable condition at this time.
The roadway was closed while the accident was cleared, the roadway is open at this time. No charges have been filed at this time.
