It was reported that members of the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force were serving a Probation warrant on 38-year-old Cornelius Abram Jr., in the 2000 block of Companion Drive, when they were alerted to a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the home. Task Force members contacted the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit and Gang Investigators concerning the strong odor and a search warrant of the residence was issued and conducted.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit members seized a handgun, approximately 12 ounces of Methamphetamine, three-pounds and six-ounces of marijuana, 32 grams of oxycodone, 26 grams of crack cocaine, and around $1800.00 in cash.

Abram is currently being held, without bond, for the charges of Probation Violation -Felony, Possession of Schedule or Schedule II Controlled Substance with the Intent to Distribute, Receipt Possession or Transfer of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon or Felony First Offender, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of or Attempt to Commit Certain Felonies, Purchase, Possession, Manufacture, Distribution, or Sale of Marijuana, and (2) counts of Trafficking in Cocaine, Illegal Drugs, Marijuana, or Methamphetamine.
