Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Accident Investigators charged 20 year-old Jonathan Edward Canipe, of Macon in the serious injury accident that happened on April 10, 2019.
Canipe was taken into custody and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol by Person Under 21, Failure to Obey Traffic Control Device, Possession of Alcohol by Person Under 21 and Driving Without a Valid License on April 10, 2019. Canipe was released on bond a $3,410.00 bond on April 11, 2019.
Due to the extent of the injuries sustained by Felicia Yvette Stribling, a warrant for the charge of Serious Injury by Motor Vehicle was issued for Canipe. Canipe turned himself into deputies at 12:00pm today. He is being held on a bond of $33,200.00 at this time.
Stribling is still being treated for her injuries at the Navicent Health Medical Center. She is listed in stable condition at this time.

Accident with Injuries in West Macon
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic accident with injuries that happened just before 05:00pm on Eisenhower Parkway at Log Cabin Drive. It was reported that a white Toyota Sequa, driven by 20 year-old Jonathon Edward Canipe of Macon, ran the red light going west on Eisenhower Parkway.
Canipe’s vehicle struck a silver Acura TSX, driven by 47 year-old Felicia Yvette Stribling of Macon, which was turning left onto Eisenhower Parkway from Log Cabin Drive to go east.
Stribling’s vehicle was pushed into a blue Kia Optima, driven by 34 year-old Jada Yamei Wilborn of Macon, who was turning left onto Eisenhower Parkway from Log Cabin Drive to go west.
Canipe and Stribling were taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center for treatment. Both are listed in stable condition at this time. Charges are pending. No one else was injured.
