Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested the driver of a stolen 2008 Chevrolet Silverado on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 just after 7:45 a.m. The truck was reported stolen on April 25, 2016 from 508 Ferncliff Terrace. The owner of the truck met with deputies on Wednesday with additional information on the truck. The owner told deputies she had spotted the vehicle around Hendley Street and Patterson Street.

Deputies with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office District 3 Patrol searched the area and located the stolen truck traveling on Hillcrest Avenue near Hendley Street. A traffic stop was made on the vehicle. The driver identified as 39 year old Eric Userry, of Macon, was detained. Ussery was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Property Investigations Office for questioning. He was charged with theft by receiving and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. Ussery had a bond of $4,050.00. He posted bond and was released early Thursday morning. The truck was turned back over to the owner.
