On October 31, 2019, Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested three subjects for Burglary after they attempted to enter an apartment at 4411 Northside Drive, Whispering Woods Apartments at 09:31 a.m.

Deputies were dispatched to the area for subjects climbing up on a balcony and trying to get into an apartment in 3 Building. While in route deputies were informed by a witness that the three subjects ran off through the woods towards Northside Drive.

Deputies located the subjects as they were attempting to get into a gray Dodge Avenger car on Northside. Deputies took 18-year-old Jaeson Cotton, 17-year-old Jaylin Garrett, and 17-year-old Jermaine Hollingshed into custody.

All three suspects were taken to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Unit for questioning. It was determined that the three suspects had attempted to enter the apartment, but were scared off when they realized the resident was at home.

Cotton was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Burglary. He was released on an $8,450.00 bond on October 31, 2019.

Garrett was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Burglary. He is being held on an $8,450.00 bond at this time.

Hollingshed was taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center for complaints of injuries he sustained when he fell off the apartment balcony. He will be charged when he is released from the hospital.
