At around 5:30AM Sunday morning, December 6th, Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded an area under the 2nd Street Bridge near the railroad tracks in reference to an unresponsive person. Deputies found a white female laying on the ground unresponsive when they arrived. She was taken to the Navicent Health Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
The identity of the female has not been confirmed at this time and the incident is under investigation. An autopsy is scheduled to be performed the first of the week to determine the cause of death.
