Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that occurred in the 100 block of Tom Hill Sr. Blvd just before 2:00 am.
Deputies were dispatched to the lower parking lot of Planet Fitness in reference to a large fight. While en route they were advised a person was reported shot at this location. Upon their arrival, deputies discovered 17-year-old Sha’quvas Dean suffering from a gunshot wound in the parking lot. Dean was transported to the hospital by ambulance where he was later pronounced deceased by Coroner Ronnie Miley. The next of kin has been notified.
