The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that occurred in the 600 block of Paul Street just after 12:20 a.m., Wednesday.
Deputies responded to Paul Street in reference to a person shot. Upon arrival deputies found 35-year-old Ahmad Jarmell Harrell suffering from a gunshot wound inside of the home. Harrell was pronounced deceased on the scene by Coroner Lonnie Marley.
The next of kin has been notified.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators are still determining what led up to the shooting. Further details will be released once it becomes available.
