The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that happened in the 3800 block of Lindwood Drive, just before 11:00 p.m.
Deputies responded to the 3800 block of Lindwood Drive regarding a person shot in a residence. Upon arrival deputies found 28-year-old Dawud Robert Gillion unresponsive. Gillion was pronounced deceased by Deputy Coroner Richard Robinson. The next of kin has been notified by Coroner Leon Jones. No one else was injured during the incident.
Investigators are working to determine what lead up to the incident. The above information is preliminary and could change as the investigation progresses.
