The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that happened in the 1400 block of Fourth Avenue, just after 7:00 a.m.
Deputies responded to the 1400 block of Fourth Avenue regarding a person shot. Upon arrival deputies found 43-year-old Lemuel Wilson, of Macon, unresponsive in the residence. It was reported that Wilson and a female were in the home when an unknown subject fired multiple shots into the residence. The Wilson was pronounced deceased on the scene by Deputy Coroner Ronnie Miley. The next of kin has been notified by Deputy Coroner Miley. No one else was injured during the incident.
There is no information on the suspect currently.
