The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that occurred within the 3500 block of Fair Street on April 19, 2024, at 11:48 p.m. Friday.
Deputies responded to a call reporting shots fired on Fair Street. When Deputies arrived on the scene, they discovered a 29-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics responded to the scene to treat the victim of his injuries. According to Chief Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley, Rashad Shaquille Reddick was pronounced deceased on the scene. The next of kin has been notified. No one else has been reported injured.
Investigators are working to determine what led up to the incident. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
