The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident that occurred within the 3800 block of Andrews Drive. The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb E-911 Center at 1:04 a.m., Tuesday morning.
Deputies responded to the scene and discovered a male behind a residence, unresponsive with a gunshot wound. The male had succumbed to his injury. Deputy Coroner Ronnie Miley pronounced the male deceased on the scene. No one else was reported injured.
The deceased currently has not been identified.
Investigators are working to determine what led up to the shooting. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
