The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred at Safe Haven Mobile Home Park located at 1294 Glendale Avenue, just after 4:00 a.m. Wednesday.
Deputies arrived on the scene and made contact with a fifty-five-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to Atrium Health Navicent for medical treatment. According to Medical Staff, the victim has been pronounced deceased. No one else was reported injured during the incident.
The circumstances surrounding this incident are currently under investigation. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
